Open-source hardware refers to the design specifications of a physical object which can be studied, tested and verified by anyone.

Trezor uses open and transparent hardware technology. All the components of Trezor devices that protect the user's cryptocurrency funds are entirely transparent. Any developer can read and verify what the device does. For more information, click here and here (GitHub repositories).
